Chip Wringer

In several machining processes, coolant oil tends to stick to metal chips generated during cutting, by the principle of adhesion and surface tension. The chip wringer is designed to extract residue oil from various types of metal chips. This device works well with any application that includes the use of oil. The chip wringer can be integrated with a chip conveyor where the wet chips can be transferred from machining centers into the rotating drum of the chip wringer. The oil is separated from the chips using centrifugal force. The dried chips are collected and disposed efficiently with 90% of oil reclaimed.
